Siddons-Martin Emergency Group is seeking a PPE Specialist to coordinate daily service activities related to all products, working with Equipment Sales Representatives to grow sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
The role requires collaboration with staff across departments, strong standards in gear specs, NFPA knowledge, and travel across Siddons Martin territories to build and maintain relationships with customers and manufacturers.

The purpose of the PPE Specialist is to have a responsible person capable of operating and coordinating certain daily service activities related to all product(s), either in association with, or in absence of the Facility/Service Manager.
Unless otherwise specified, the PPE Specialist is responsible for working with all Equipment Sales Representatives to grow sales. The responsibility includes, but is not limited to, a dedication to the company’s mission statement, to company profitability and 100% customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with assigned team and the Manager and serve as lead in direction on profitability and professional based repairs in assigned specialized field.
With appropriate notification, the PPE Specialist agrees to attend and participate in all career specific seminars, training courses, industry related certification programs and internal company training and or meetings recommended or scheduled by the business owner/operator.
It is the responsibility of the PPE Specialist to always conduct him/herself in a professional manner. This includes the agreement not to use any foul or objectionable language towards any customer, vendor, co-worker, or employee. To refrain from any negative comments about any customer, vendor, competitor, or employee. As a specialist you are expected to maintain composure with all customers, vendors, and employees always and to carry out all defined duties in a professional manner.
At all times the PPE Specialist is to strive for 100% customer satisfaction. This includes a commitment to customer courtesy, taking the time to be certain that the customer clearly understands his or her options, your recommendations, warranties offered, estimates provided, invoices provided, methods of payment and value and the benefits he or she may receive from our products.
The PPE Specialist clearly understands that in circumstances which may arise were certain issues may be unclear to a customer, he/she is to advise the customer that he/she will look into a prompt resolution, discuss with management and follow up with immediately with a defined explanation.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk stairs and/or climb ladders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 65 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
