Job summary

Würth Industry North America is seeking a PPE Product Manager to expand PPE offerings and serve as a product SME across the US market. You will work with sales to identify opportunities, guide product selection, and ensure data quality in PIM and ERP systems.

The role emphasizes lifecycle management, supplier rationalization, and interaction with global data requirements for EU/Canada. Onsite at one of our locations, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, supply chain, engineering or related field.
• 3–7+ years in industrial distribution, PPE category management or technical sales.
• Experience with PIM and ERP item/master data; SAP/Prophet 21 is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA PPE requirements and US standards (ANSI/ISEA).
• Ability to influence without direct authority and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to the sales organization for PPE products.
• Partner with account managers to expand PPE indirect sales within existing accounts.
• Support PPE product knowledge development across the sales organization.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to sales representatives as needed.
• Act as SME for product categories, systems, and intercompany cooperation.
• Guide product selection, sourcing options, and technical specifications.
• Lead product lifecycle management and SKU/supplier rationalization.
• Own PPE data quality across PIM and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP and Prophet 21).
• Coordinate with compliance on declarations/documentation for restricted substances.
• Interpret ISO vs. ASME differences and apply to global product data.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Leverage product knowledge to support sourcing and quoting activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers on competitive proposals.
• Assist with large or complex project implementations and cross-functional coordination.
