Job summary

L&L Products, Inc. is seeking a PPAP Coordinator in Michigan to manage PPAP submissions, calibrations, and quality documentation. You will liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure compliance with AIAG PPAP requirements and maintain accurate records.

The role requires 2–3 years in manufacturing quality, strong communication, and the ability to use Oracle, IMDS, and Minitab. Expect a demanding yet rewarding environment with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 manufacturing experience.
• Quality experience required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and technically proficient.
• Ability to lead projects and drive results.
• Computer skills (Microsoft O365/ Teams/ Oracle/ IMDS/ Nitro/ SharePoint).
• Automotive OEM and Tier portal applications for quality and PPAP.
• Knowledge of MSA requirements.
• GageTrak software.
• Basic statistics/ Minitab software.
• Analytical specification testing and instrumental skills.
• Project Management.
• Technical writing and reporting.
• Basic Chemistry and laboratory practice skills.
• Analyze and solve problems systematically.
• Develop relationships and communicate expectations and issues to customers.
• Manage and drive change to improve processes and systems.
• Must be able to maintain flexible hours and travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit PPAP and related quality documentation per customer requirements.
• Review prints/mylars for compliance with standards.
• Use forms, manuals, and customer portals per requirements.
• Participate in APQP Gate Review Process and Oracle workflows.
• Complete paperwork for manufacturing inspection plans.
• Verify gage R&R for quality/test gages.
• Obtain calibration records for measurement equipment.
• Coordinate data retrieval and perform statistical analysis (Minitab).
• Maintain records for Advanced Quality Planning and PPAPs.
• IMDS submissions per customer requirements.
• Upload PPAP submissions to portals and Oracle.
• Prototype PPAPs per customer requirements.
• Monitor KPI for on-time PPAP submission and yield.
• Review supplier PPAPs with KPI focus.
• Coordinate annual validations and support customer requests.
