Job summary

Pinxton Village Academies is seeking a PPA/development cover Class Teacher for a fixed term to 31 August 2027 to provide high quality teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 within our schools.

You will join a supportive team within The Flying High Partnership, with opportunities for professional learning and a flexible, generous holiday entitlement.

Pinxton Village Academies is looking to appoint a PPA/development cover Class Teacher for a fixed term until 31st August 2027, covering EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to provide high quality, supportive, engaging, teaching for the pupils in our school. You would be joining an exceptional and supportive team of professionals, who are relentless in our pursuit of excellence and our mission to make every day count for the children. Pinxton Village Academies is the shared name for Longwood Infant Academy, John King Infant Academy and Kirkstead Junior Academy. We have a unique structure as we are led collectively by one Senior Leadership Team and have one Governing Board who support us in delivering a warm welcoming atmosphere where all are nurtured and cared for. In 2018, our schools formally joined the Flying High Trust and now work collaboratively with our Trust colleagues to achieve our shared aim of being the best schools in the universe! Flying High Trust is a Multi Academy Trust of 30 primary schools across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Nottingham City. Flying High Futures provides professional learning internally for staff across the Trust, and externally through Department for Education national programmes.
