Job summary

RPM xConstruction, LLC is seeking a skilled Concrete Curb Finisher in Texas to join our turnkey infrastructure team. You will perform final finishes on concrete surfaces, following job-specific requirements, and work in outdoor conditions.

You will read and follow instructions, maintain proper tolerances, and operate hand or power tools to shape and smooth concrete. The role requires 3+ years of experience and a strong physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Concrete Finisher.
• Basic reading of work instructions and safety information in English.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Available for 5am–6pm, Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Finish concrete surfaces using broom, grooves, trowels, and related tools.
• Maintain proper cross-slopes and tolerances for sidewalks, driveways, ramps, and curbs.
• Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake, screed, and float.
• Monitor weather impact on concrete during curing processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce various final finishes on concrete surfaces based of job specific requirements, using rough/fine brooms or special groove rakes.
• Must have knowledge of proper cross slopes and acceptable tolerances of all sidewalks, driveways, ramps, curbs, and other concrete structures.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float.
• Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affect the various stages of the concrete throughout the entire process.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Must have a minimum of 3-year experience as a Concrete Finisher
• Working under all weather conditions
• Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 25 pounds.
• Must be available for work 5am – 6pm Monday through Saturdays.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to machines and chemicals at various times. The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
