You will work with lead engineers on drivability targets, perform in-vehicle testing, data collection, and subjective evaluation across internal combustion, hybrid, and battery-electric propulsion in multiple segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of relevant engineering experience; automotive preferred.
• Internship experience in engineering is beneficial.
• Knowledge of vehicle powertrain systems and dynamics.
• Experience with data analysis software (MATLAB) and data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Instrument test vehicles with sensors to collect performance data.
• Perform root cause analysis on drivability and powertrain issues.
• Plan test trips and evaluate vehicles across varied driving conditions.
• Collaborate with engineers to validate drivability strategies.
• Prepare and present technical reports and status updates.
• Travel up to 35% domestically and internationally for development work.
