Job summary

Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls, MN is seeking an Engine Systems Development Engineer who will develop and test engine management systems for snowmobile, off-road, and XTV lines. You will work on 2-stroke and 4-stroke combustion, fuel delivery, intake/exhaust, and turbocharger applications, ensuring schedules, cost targets, and emissions specs are met.

Qualifications

• Develop / test Fuel Management Systems for all products.
• Assist in intake system, exhaust and after treatment systems, and engine combustion development.
• Perform engine/chassis dyno and emissions testing.
• Verify vehicles pass all required compliance testing including emissions regulations.
• Develop Project Timelines and maintain schedules to meet program milestones.
• Coordinate procurement of prototype Fuel Management system components.
• Create appropriate test and validation plans for new and revised designs and monitor to ensure performance that meets or exceed the design requirements.
• Follow product development processes and methods for tracking project status and open issues.
• Identify and implement potential cost savings.
• Stay abreast of latest Fuel Management and Engine developments and new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop engine management systems for snowmobile, off-road, and XTV product lines.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure schedules, cost targets, and emissions specs are met.
• Work on 2-stroke and 4-stroke combustion, fuel delivery, intake/exhaust, and turbocharger applications.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams on processes and controls.
• Prepare service manuals and part books as needed.
