Job summary

Hyundai Motor Company in Alabama seeks an experienced supervisor to manage and direct flow of powertrain repair vehicles through the salvage area in an automotive manufacturing environment.

You will lead a team, develop work instructions, analyze repairs, and coordinate warranty and quality reports while ensuring safety and compliance with BMS/EMS/SMS frameworks.

Applicants should have strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access skills and 0–10 years related experience; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 0–10 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Repair and diagnose engine and transmission control issues.
• Teach problem-resolution processes in repair manuals to team members.
• Lead the team in prioritizing and processing repairs in the vehicle assembly plant.
• Write standardized work instructions for engine repair processes.
• Develop and teach safe work practices and housekeeping.
• Analyze field claims to determine root causes and develop countermeasures.
• Coordinate with warranty claims, field claims and QIR sections.
• Understand engine and chassis functionality.
