Job summary

Hyundai Mobis in Alabama seeks an Hourly Team Leader to assist the Department Supervisor in running the production line. You will be a subject matter expert for your area, train new team members, and monitor line performance.

You will ensure quality, safety, and 5S housekeeping, follow policies, and report daily results to the supervisor. Overtime and weekend work may be required; hazardous materials handling may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to think logically and to anticipate problems in advance.
• Ability to develop viable business solutions to routine quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure team members meeting the expected level of quality.
• Understands and ensures team members are following the work Instruction and procedures.
• Maintains good housekeeping to 5S standards.
• Follow Mobis handbook policies.
• Ability to give directions and lead team members.
• Works well with others.
• Able to work overtime with little or no notice.
• Reporting daily results to Supervisor.
• Reports any unsafe concerns to Supervisor.
• Able to followinstructiongiven to them.
• Utilizesall tools available and/or necessary to perform their job.
• Able to suggest improvements and ideas for the department.
• Able to complete tasks in the allotted time.
• Comply withall safety rules and guidance, as well as report all recognized hazards.
• Prompt, regular, predictable attendance
• Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours
• Overtime and weekend work asrequired
• Required to work with, handle, store, or otherwise manage hazardous materials, and mustcomply withall applicable regulationsestablishedby the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
• Responsibilities include ensuring safe and compliant management of hazardous materialsin accordance withstate and federal regulatory requirements.
• May berequiredtoparticipatein training for handling of hazardous materials.
• All other job duties as assigned.
