Job summary

G-Tech is seeking a Project Manager for Powertrain, Propulsion, and Calibration based in Auburn Hills, MI 48326. This on-site role requires 6 months with a strong possibility of long-term conversion; OT may be required to support plant readiness.

The role oversees hardware/software/calibration integration, propulsion triage, rolls/EOL/audit representation, and execution-build sign-offs, coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, and plant leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline; 8+ years experience.
• Experience with automotive manufacturing, vehicle integration, propulsion systems, and production support.
• Ability to lead structured problem solving across engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, and production organizations.
• Strong communication, organization, escalation, and technical decision-making skills; on-site availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-plant integration and readiness of PRS components, software, and calibrations.
• Organize and maintain PRS triage with clear problem statements, priorities, owners, containment actions, escalation paths, and closure criteria.
• Represent propulsion for rolls testing, end-of-line activities, and audit findings; ensure issues are documented and resolved.
• Coordinate and complete propulsion part sign-off at execution builds with verification of parts and pedigree.
• Coordinate software and calibration integration into plant flash stations with release timing and readiness.
