Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks a Parts Development Powertrain Specialist to lead program sourcing and supplier development for launch readiness. You will own RFI/RFPs/RFQs, negotiate long-term supplier agreements, and drive cost reductions while guiding suppliers through HMGMA's Parts Development process.

Responsibilities include ensuring the ISIR/PPAP process, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams, and maintaining supplier data to prevent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance or Accounting.
• Strong command of English; bilingual in English/Korean/Spanish preferred.
• Experience in automotive purchasing, APQP/PPAP, supplier development and launch.

Responsibilities

• Understand program sourcing and key milestones in support of launch.
• Prepare and own RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for multi-year full production volume.
• Negotiate long-term supplier agreements and maintain best-in-class pricing.
• Lead cost reduction activities and develop supplier commodities meeting specs and timing.
• Drive flawless launches at supplier sites, ensuring ISIR/PPAP adherence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address Quality, Cost, Delivery issues.
• Monitor supply chain disruptions and maintain up-to-date supplier data.
