Job summary

You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Styling, and Purchasing, as well as suppliers, to balance sound, performance, durability, weight, and timing, while driving

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3 years of related Engineering experience.
• Experience in leading or contributing to DFMEA and DVP&R activities
• Understanding of exhaust system design, acoustics, and emissions components
• Working knowledge of GD&T and datum structure development
• Experience working in cross-functional product development environments

Responsibilities

• Own the design and release of intake and exhaust components from concept through production, delivering systems that define the Harley-Davidson rider experience and signature sound
• Collaborate cross-functionally and with suppliers to meet performance, quality, cost, weight, timing, and global regulatory requirements
• Drive the balance of sound, performance, durability, and emissions compliance through design, validation (DFMEA/DVP&R), CAD, analysis, prototypes, and testing
• Identify and implement new technologies into product lifecycle plans
• Demonstrate strong ownership, attention to detail, and accountability while effectively communicating, influencing decisions, and solving complex engineering challenges
