Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Program Manager/Manufacturing Engineer to lead a team of 5–6 specialists in delivering Powertrain program execution aligned with GME standards. The role emphasizes transforming processes using Ford Production System principles and integrating digital tools for efficient reporting.

The ideal candidate will drive standardization, early involvement of manufacturing constraints, and continuous improvement across global plants.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or GPDS / FPS / Continuous Improvement implementation.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional project teams and mentoring peers.

Responsibilities

Direct, mentor, and develop a team of 5–6 operational excellence and program management professionals.
Support development, alignment, and execution of SAP-based strategic actions for Powertrain Program Delivery.
Integrate FPS principles into GPDS milestones for manufacturing implementation.
Establish standard practices to minimize late-stage engineering changes and ensure smooth launches.
Design, deploy, and govern physical and digital visual management centers.
Champion integration of software and AI productivity tools for reporting and connected flow.
Define and update KPI dashboards to measure program health and alignment.
Develop and execute a training strategy with competency assessment and skills development.
Organize culture-change mechanisms like Kaizens and Gemba walks for proactive barrier removal.
Cascade transformation strategy through all-hands and leadership meetings.
