Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or automotive related field.
  • 5 years of overall experience.
  • Knowledge of internal combustion engines.
  • Knowledge of modern and classical control principles.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink auto-coding, Autosar, Embedded C/C++, ECU/Vehicle data tools (INCA/CANalyzer).
  • Experience with engine controls modeling, simulation, development, validation and calibration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new controls strategies for engine torque and stop-start management.
  • Validate controls in virtual and physical environments throughout production.
  • Interface with calibration teams, assess compliance and documentation impacts.
  • Provide technical guidance and training, and present reports to management.
