Job summary

LEN Performance is seeking a motivated Sales & Product Development Assistant to join our team. The role blends product development, technical research, testing, customer support, and sales support in the powersports sector.

The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on mechanical work, researching product applications, and helping bring new products from concept through testing and launch. Remote work is available but limited; strong organizational skills and clear communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research and development of new powersports products - specifically suspension shocks and their components
• Research applications, product fitment, cross-references, and competitive products
• Assist with prototype, sample, and production testing, including shock and suspension testing
• Review product samples, specifications, and technical drawings for accuracy and fitment
• Maintain product information, technical documentation, application data, and pricing
• Help create installation instructions, product diagrams, and other technical materials
• Communicate with suppliers regarding samples, product changes, pricing, and quality concerns
• Provide product and technical support to distributors and end consumers
• Support new product launches, sales efforts, and industry events
• Help troubleshoot product, installation, fitment, and quality issues

LEN Performance is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Product Development Assistant to join our team. This is a unique, hands-on position that combines product development, technical research, product testing, customer support, and sales support within the powersports industry. This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for the powersports industry and enjoys understanding how products work, researching applications and fitment, working directly with parts and equipment, and helping bring new products from concept through testing and launch.

The Sales & Product Development Assistant reports to the LEN Product & Brand Manager and works closely with the Director of Development and Director of Sales.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research and development of new powersports products - specifically suspension shocks and their components
• Research applications, product fitment, cross-references, and competitive products
• Assist with prototype, sample, and production testing, including shock and suspension testing
• Review product samples, specifications, and technical drawings for accuracy and fitment

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Interest or experience in ATV, UTV, snowmobile, and or other powersports products
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Comfortable researching technical information and working with spreadsheets
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
• Experience with suspension, shocks, product development or technical support is a plus but not required
• Base salary $40K - $50K per year
• Paid holidays and generous PTO program (begins after 3 month probationary period)
• $300/mo health benefit stipend (begins after 3 month probationary period)
