Job summary

Specialty Motorsports in Sacramento, CA is seeking a driven Inventory Acquisition Specialist to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and purchase motorcycles and powersports vehicles to expand our high-volume inventory.

You will work with private sellers, customers, consignors, and other sources, coordinating appraisals and records while collaborating with management to ensure a profitable, well-curated selection. Competitive benefits include 401(k), health and dental insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of motorcycles, makes, models, and market values.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable communicating with customers in person, over the phone, and online.
• Self-starter who thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple opportunities.
• Previous dealership, automotive, motorcycle, or powersports experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue motorcycle acquisition opportunities.
• Research motorcycle values, market demand, and resale potential.
• Communicate and negotiate with private sellers.
• Handle in-store motorcycle purchase inquiries and appraisals.
• Coordinate consignment intake and customer agreements.
• Maintain organized records of purchase opportunities and completed acquisitions.
• Develop new sourcing channels to increase inventory.
• Work closely with dealership management to maintain a strong, profitable inventory selection.
