Job summary

Young Powersports XL in Utah is seeking a hands-on Powersports Assembly Technician to assemble motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and watercraft, and perform pre-delivery inspections. You’ll join a team focused on quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reading manuals, lifting up to 75 lbs, and ownership of tools, with endorsements and a passion for powersports. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in mechanical assembly or mechanical work.
• Ability to read service manuals and assembly instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must supply own tools and Motorcycle Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Uncrate and assemble new motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure components function properly and safely.
• Torque bolts to spec, install batteries, fluids, tires, and accessories as required.
• Maintain accurate records of completed assemblies and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and correct basic mechanical or cosmetic issues during assembly.
• Assist with setup for events, showroom floor updates, or customer deliveries.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
• Communicate with service and sales teams regarding unit readiness, missing parts, or special requests.
• Occasionally assist with basic repairs, accessory installations, or general service work.

• Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand tools, torque wrenches, and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record required
• Motorcycle Endorsement Required
• Must supply own tools
