Responsibilities

• Serves as the district-level PowerSchool support resource for middle and high schools, providing guidance and assistance to school personnel.
• Maintains and monitors student academic records, transcripts, grades, credits, course history, promotion, progression, and graduation-related data.
• Supports beginning- and end-of-year PowerSchool processes, including scheduling, student transitions, grade storage, and year-end rollover activities.
• Reviews PowerSchool data for accuracy and consistency, identifies errors, and works with schools to resolve discrepancies.
• Generates reports, queries, exports, and data analyses to support school and district administrators.
• Assists with district and state reporting by validating data, coordinating corrections, and ensuring timely submissions.
• Manages user access and security in accordance with district policies and authorized access requirements.
• Provides training, technical support, troubleshooting, and documentation for PowerSchool users and district procedures.
• Assists with testing system upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes prior to implementation.
• Collaborates with Technology staff and district departments to support PowerSchool operations, integrations, and cross-functional student information processes.
• Ensures compliance with FERPA, district policies, and state and federal regulations regarding student data privacy and security.
