You will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot boilers, turbines, and HVAC equipment, while documenting data and coordinating with emergency responders during outages. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in plant operations or similar environments.
• Licensing: Powerplant Operator, Boiler Operator, or Stationary Engineer as required by local regulations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local plant operations and boiler operation codes.

Responsibilities

• Operates, controls, and safely shuts down power plant systems including boilers, turbines, generators, chillers, and HVAC equipment.
• Monitors meters, gauges, and indicators to regulate power flow and diagnose equipment issues.
• Conducts troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility equipment and related systems.
• Compiles operational data, maintains logs, and manages emergency communications during outages.
• Supports leadership by training colleagues and participating in workshops and projects.
