Job summary

Southside Electric Cooperative seeks Apprentice/Line Technician candidates for a comprehensive four-year program advancing to Journeyman status. Responsibilities include constructing and maintaining overhead and underground distribution, and restoring outages with safety and efficiency.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a Virginia Class A CDL, and First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Priority to those with power line experience and coursework in protective systems.

Qualifications
