Job summary

RTX is seeking a Powerhouse Technician to keep a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility running safely and reliably. You will troubleshoot and maintain critical utility and industrial systems while building expertise in a hands-on role at Columbus Forge operations.

This is a Weekend Night Shift: Friday - Sunday, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am. You will work independently and as part of a team in varied environments, including outdoors and confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, P&IDs, and electrical/control schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical utility systems (steam, condensate, compressed air, cooling water, chillers, electrical distribution).
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid systems).
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment including substations, breakers, VFDs, motors, transformers, and bus systems.
• Read blueprints/P&ID/control schematics to diagnose issues and complete repairs.
