Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a maintenance technician to join the team. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting powerhouse and related systems, with emphasis on safety and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include equipment diagnostics, data logging, reading diagrams, and assisting engineers. A high school diploma and an associate degree in Instrument/Electronic Technology are required, with HVAC or power generation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Instrument Technology or Electronic Technology or related field.
• Experience with power generation or HVAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and participate in required safety training.
• Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair powerhouse and supervisory systems.
• Implement a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and records.
• Assist outside service engineers and maintain repair records.
• Read process and instrument diagrams and program data loggers and controllers.
• Generate ladder logic hard copies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
