You will perform preventive maintenance, rebuild engines per OEM specs, and conduct annual load bank tests, while keeping accurate records and staying compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience working on generators and engines.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using meters, analyzers and test equipment.
• Working knowledge of load bank testing.

Responsibilities

• Record keeping related to maintenance, testing and rebuilding of generator sets and emissions control devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer’s O/M manual.
• Rebuild generator set engines to factory specs as needed per O/M manual.
• Conduct load bank testing annually on required engines for emissions testing.
• Monitor powerhouse generators and related equipment; address issues promptly.
• Notify Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer of issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; respond to emergencies as needed.
• Perform additional duties at the discretion of the General Manager and Chief Engineer.
