Air National Guard Units in Missouri seeks a Permanent WG-5378-10 Powered Support Systems Mechanic (Title 32) for the MO 131st Bomb Wing. This Title 32, Excepted Service position is based at a National Guard unit and involves maintenance of aviation power systems equipment.

This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This is a Permanent WG-5378-10 POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D0324000 and is part of the MO 131st Bomb Wing.
Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade: MSgt (E-7) Minimum Military Grade: SSgt (E-5)
Must possess experience or training which demonstrates your knowledge of mechanical maintenance work; ability to read and use technical manuals, illustrations, diagrams and schematics; and skill in the use of equipment and hand tools used in troubleshooting, testing and repairing equipment.
Must possess specialized experience and/or appropriate training that demonstrates your ability to remove, adjust, replace, clean, and install parts, components, and accessories of aviation powered ground support equipment; service, maintain, disassemble, assemble, repair, and test powered support systems equipment; diagnose malfunctions and determining a remedy where knowledge of specialized components is necessary to locate a malfunction; make mechanical repairs that required the use of precision measuring equipment; and use complex diagnostic and testing equipment. Possession (or previous possession) of AFSC 2A6X2 is optimum.
