Job summary

Air National Guard Units in Missouri seeks a Permanent WG-5378-10 Powered Support Systems Mechanic (Title 32) for the MO 131st Bomb Wing. This Title 32, Excepted Service position is based at a National Guard unit and involves maintenance of aviation power systems equipment.

Selected candidate must have experience reading technical manuals and schematics, using precision measuring tools, diagnosing malfunctions, and performing complete maintenance, repair, and testing of ground support equipment

Qualifications

Experience or training in mechanical maintenance and ability to read technical manuals, diagrams and schematics.
Skill in using equipment and hand tools for troubleshooting, testing and repair.
Ability to remove, adjust, replace, clean and install parts of aviation ground support equipment.

Responsibilities

Remove, install, repair and test parts and accessories of aviation powered ground support equipment.
Service, maintain, disassemble/assemble and diagnose powered support systems equipment.
Diagnose malfunctions using precision measuring and complex diagnostic/testing equipment.
