Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a semiconductor product engineer to support yield and performance of power products. You will tackle complex problems, track yield performance for predictable starts, and collaborate across engineering teams to stabilize fab processes.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience with BS or 1 year with Masters.
• Understanding of semiconductor processes and device physics.
• Experience in design of experiments, statistical analysis, and process control with a data-analysis focus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor key device performance attributes to ensure device health.
• Strong data analysis skills to drive root cause for parametric shifts or issues.
• Drive problem solving across multiple teams (i.e. process, flows, product).
• Respond to deviations in our product lines and customer concerns and drive to root cause.
• Develop solutions to problems utilizing structured problem-solving tools.
• Support planning to predict yield outcome and product starts.
