Job summary

CBRE's Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a technically grounded Electrical Utility Infrastructure Manager to lead power due diligence, utility engagement, and infrastructure solutioning for a large-scale e-commerce client. This hands-on role focuses on site-level power assessments, utility strategy, easement analysis, and translating grid constraints into actionable real estate decisions.

You will serve as the primary technical interface among client regional leadership, utility providers,

Qualifications

5-7+ years in utility design and coordination for large-scale infra.
Background in electrical engineering, utility design/planning, or T&D operations.
Ability to interpret utility data, assess substation capacity, and interconnection feasibility.
Familiarity with easements, real property rights, and ROW documentation.
Experience with publicly available utility data and project tracking software.

Responsibilities

Lead power due diligence across prospective sites and assess load and capacity.
Coordinate with utilities, clients, and project teams on engagement and scheduling.
Evaluate interconnection requirements and distribution upgrade needs.
Develop and maintain due diligence templates and documentation.
Track inquiries and manage portfolio of sites.
