Job summary

Leprino Foods Company in Fort Morgan, CO is seeking a Power and Utilities Technician to maintain ammonia refrigeration, boiler systems, HVAC, fire systems, and wastewater operations, performing preventive and predictive maintenance on pumps, valves, motors, and steam/condensate equipment.

You will follow OSHA safety rules and food safety policies, train on SOPs, and ensure safe operation of all related equipment across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with strong Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude.
• Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Reliable with a strong desire to learn and expand skills.
• The ability to adapt and be open to new technologies and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
• Must be team orientated, self-motivated and communicate effectively, oral and written.
• Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and Holidays.
• Able to handle varying work conditions from extremely hot/humid to cold.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operations and maintenance of all Ammonia Refrigeration Equipment.
• Maintain operations and maintenance of boiler systems and condensate return.
• Perform Chemistry tests on boilers and accurately document all necessary information.
• Train and adhere to SOPs, OSHA and Process Safety Management Regulations.
• Wastewater Systems and Rounds.
• Always perform work in a safe manner adhering to human and food safety guidelines.
