Job summary

Torrey Holistics in New Jersey is seeking a skilled maintenance technician experienced with ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems. The role focuses on operating and maintaining utility systems, performing preventive maintenance, and rapidly troubleshooting a range of mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.

You will monitor energy efficiency, uphold PSM/RMP and GMP standards, and coordinate with teams to ensure continuous uptime and safe operations at the facility.

Qualifications

• Ammonia handling and refrigeration systems knowledge.
• Boiler systems maintenance and operation experience.
• Blue Seal certification or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration and related utility systems to keep facility uptime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections for reliability and compliance.
• Monitor energy performance of ammonia compressors and boiler systems for efficiency.
• Support safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance, including GMP/PSM/RMP documentation.
