Job summary

LevelUP HCS in New York is seeking a Senior Associate/VP-level investment banker to lead M&A advisory in Power & Utilities. The role focuses on buy-side and sell-side mandates, with exposure to energy, infrastructure and regulated utilities markets.

You will build and review financial models (DCF, comps, precedent transactions) and support execution from pitch to close. Prepare client materials and mentor junior bankers on live deals.

Qualifications

• Senior Associate or VP level with investment banking experience.
• Strong M&A execution experience, preferably in P&U, energy or infra.
• Exposure to regulated utilities, renewables, or energy-transition sectors.
• Proven financial modeling, valuation and multi-workstream management.

Responsibilities

• Execute M&A advisory transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates.
• Build and review DCF, comps, precedent transactions and merger analyses.
• Support transaction execution from pitch through due diligence and closing.
• Prepare client presentations, valuation materials and pitch books.
• Work with senior bankers and clients on live transactions and opportunities.
• Conduct industry research, evaluate market trends and targets.
• Mentor junior bankers and oversee financial analysis and deliverables.
