Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and ability to perform financial analyses and models.
• Knowledge of corporate finance valuation and financial accounting concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in teams and demonstrate leadership.
• SIE, Series 7/79 and Series 63 certifications, with 5 months to obtain if needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in mergers and acquisitions in power, utilities and energy sectors.
• Work on valuations, transaction execution, buyer/target analysis, and client presentations.
• Assist in deal process stages and contribute to ideas for transactions.
• Prepare financial analyses and company valuations.
• Develop company profiles and memoranda describing client opportunities.
• Research potential buyers/investors/targets and coordinate approvals.
