Job summary

Talisman is seeking a Vice President to lead execution on high‑profile M&A and strategic advisory assignments in Power, Utilities and energy infrastructure in New York. The role is execution‑heavy, offering exposure to senior clients and Managing Directors while staying close to transactions.

You will manage day‑to‑day execution, lead valuation and modeling, oversee junior teams, and coordinate across diligence workstreams, with regular client interactions and senior banker collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong M&A transaction execution experience.
• Excellent financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Ability to run multiple transaction workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong client communication and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail and sound commercial judgment.
• Experience in Power & Utilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day execution of complex transactions.
• Leading financial analysis, valuation and transaction modelling.
• Managing Associates and Analysts across live engagements.
• Reviewing transaction materials and providing senior-level technical oversight.
• Coordinating diligence, documentation and workstreams across transaction processes.
• Working directly with senior executives, sponsors, corporates and other transaction counterparties.
• Developing strategic and transaction recommendations alongside senior coverage bankers.
• Preparing and delivering high-impact client presentations.
• Maintaining close communication with senior bankers as transactions progress.
• Training and developing junior members of the team.
• Contributing sector and market expertise across power, utilities and energy infrastructure.
