Job summary

United Utility Services in the United States is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Transmission and Substation power delivery projects from inception to completion at the customer site.

This role requires a proactive, organized professional with strong communication and technical skills, capable of coordinating across cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, finance, or business (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience managing major engineering/procurement construction activities.
• Analytical thinking; knowledge of distribution line, substation projects, and transmission preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of the transmission system, engineering principles, and project practices.
• Evaluate progress, identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and determine viable solutions.
• Analyze and control project costs, schedules, work plans, and budgets; lead team efforts and resolve conflicts.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
• Lead projects involving multiple work groups and departments.
