Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) is building an American energy future with wind, solar and storage assets across the United States. This in-office role (hybrid) supports traders by delivering timely market insights, price forecasts, and risk assessments.

You will work with Excel, Python, SQL, and external APIs to create actionable dashboards and reports. Minimum 2–4 years on a Power Trading desk with a quantitative background, plus proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel (VBA), Tableau, and power flow

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience on a Power Trading desk in market analysis or transactional support.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field as listed.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel (including VBA), Tableau, and power flow tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis using large datasets to inform trading decisions and identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop and enhance forecasting models for pricing, congestion, system load, and related factors.
