Job summary

Aggreko in Reno, Nevada is seeking a Technician 1 Power to service, repair, and operate Aggreko products at customer sites and in shops. You will support natural gas solutions at the Peru Ridge Data Center.

The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, leading small job sites, and mentoring junior technicians while maintaining OSHA-compliant safety practices. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with generators and power equipment preferred.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver''s license and safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and moderate repairs on generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot extensive equipment failures at the shop or on customer locations; test and repair independently or with another technician(s).
• Complete necessary paperwork timely and accurately using relevant computer systems and software as directed.
• Lead moderate job-site setups and mentor lower-level Technicians.
• Maintain safety compliance per OSHA, EPA and other required regulations.
