Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is looking for a field technician to test and commission protective relays and substation equipment across transmission and distribution systems. You will troubleshoot, run start-ups, read schematics, and collect data while working on-site.

The role requires 3–5+ years in utility relay testing, hands-on relay test sets and software (SEL, GE). A bachelor's in EE or related field is preferred; NETA certification is not required.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in utility or substation relay testing and commissioning.
• Hands-on experience with relay test sets and relay software (SEL, GE or similar).
• A bachelor's degree in EE or a related field, or equivalent experience. NETA certification is not required.
• Comfort with flexible hours, weekends and frequent driving.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
