Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a qualified relay test and commissioning technician for remote, home-based work across northern Illinois, eastern Wisconsin, and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. You will test protective relays, read schematics, troubleshoot startups, and report findings to project leads.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in utility or substation relay testing, hands-on experience with relay test sets (SEL, GE or similar), and a BS in EE or related field.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in utility or substation relay testing and commissioning.
• Hands-on experience with relay test sets and relay software (SEL, GE or similar).
• A bachelor's degree in EE or a related field, or equivalent experience. NETA certification is not required.
