Job summary

RESA Power is looking for an Electrical Engineer to provide technical expertise in power systems. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, preparing reports, and proposing design solutions.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in power engineering, strong communication skills, and be proficient with relevant software. This full-time position is based in Rochester, NY, with some travel required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a matching 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in power engineering studies.
• Ability to run medium studies and projects unassisted.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for positions utilizing a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments of electric power systems.
• Prepare written reports and proposals.
• Provide engineering cost estimates and bid proposals.

Skills

Proficient in power system engineering assessments

Strong communication skills

Experience with SKM, ETAP, Easypower

Self-management of projects

Knowledge of industry standards (NETA, NEC, OSHA, NFPA)

Education

Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience

Tools

Power system analysis software
