Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 2 Power based in Reno, Nevada. You will service, repair, commission, and operate Aggreko products at shops and customer sites, supporting natural gas solutions at the South Valley/Peru Ridge data center.

You will lead moderate job site setups, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safe operation in line with OSHA and EPA guidelines while maintaining accurate paperwork and data entry records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain required certifications for equipment.
• Willingness to travel and work on customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and execute moderate repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot extensive equipment failures at the shop or on customer locations, test and handle the repairs on your own or with another technician(s).
• Complete necessary paperwork timely and accurately which may include data entry and general use of relevant computer systems and software as directed.
• Lead moderate job site setups and mentor lower-level Technicians.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of, actively practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.
