PacifiCorp is seeking engineering team members to develop and maintain specifications for transformers, reactors, and phase shifters, ensuring reliable and cost-effective utility operation. Responsibilities span reviews, factory inspections, testing, and data-driven analyses across the equipment lifecycle.

The roles are available at multiple levels, with progression based on education and experience, in Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Knowledge of power systems and transformer applications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with computers and engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining transformer specifications.
• Review drawings and data under supervision.
• Participate in factory inspections and testing.
• Support equipment evaluations and technical studies.
• Coordinate with teams, manufacturers and suppliers.
• Assist in failure investigations and data collection.
• Support commissioning and field troubleshooting.
