Job summary

PacifiCorp in Salt Lake City is seeking Engineers (I or II) to develop and maintain engineering specifications and provide technical support throughout the lifecycle of power equipment. Candidates will assist with tasks ranging from specifications to factory inspections, emphasizing a customer-centric approach and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college/university.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and utility power systems.
• Two or more years of related engineering experience for Engineer II.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and maintenance of specifications for transformers.
• Review manufacturer drawings and documents under supervision.
• Participate in factory inspections and testing activities.
• Independently manage work activities and schedules as Engineer II.

Skills

Basic knowledge of engineering principles

Communication skills

Proficient with personal computers

Ability to work cross-functionally

Education
