Job summary

GEM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a qualified Power Systems Electrical Engineer to support the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. This full-time position is based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and over 3 years of relevant experience, with the ability to obtain government clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Model utility power systems using SKM and conduct analysis.
• Engage in meetings to gather data from electrical systems.
• Develop reports for engineering studies.
• Work with drafter to update electrical drawings.

Skills

Modeling electrical systems software

Knowledge of NFPA 70E

Understanding of IEEE 1584

Ability to read electrical drawings

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
