Job summary

Eaton's Power Systems Engineering Internship offers a 12-week paid program within the Electrical Engineering Services and Systems team. You'll work on projects with measurable impact, coached by division leaders, and explore how power systems studies, power quality analysis, and electrical design come together in real-world applications.

During the internship you'll gain hands-on experience, develop leadership potential, and prepare for future roles at Eaton, with structured training including

Qualifications

Actively enrolled or graduated in Electrical or Electrical/Computer Engineering.
Minimum GPA 2.8.
No immigration sponsorship for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.
Must be geographically relocatable within the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide applied engineering consultation for power systems studies, power quality analysis, equipment startup, installation, maintenance, repair and training.
Support a wide portfolio of clients from project start to final on-site presentation and training.
Interpret specs and inquiries to design technical proposals and power system recommendations.
Operate in an entrepreneurial environment with focus on lead times and sustained relationships with the Eaton team.
