Qualus Corporation invites applications for a Power Systems Engineer I as part of its Winter 2027 Engineering Boot Camp. You will be paired with a structured training program, gain hands-on substation safety training, and receive FE exam prep guidance.

You will join a multidisciplinary team across geographies, performing essential power system studies and reporting results. The role begins with a January 2027 start, with a pathway to a full-time position at Qualus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school (Mechanical degrees accepted for some roles).
• Experience with power systems analysis is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Develop study reports and communicate results to customers.
• Interpret drawings and develop relay settings and schematics.
• Support project teams and meet deadlines.
• Maintain up-to-date technical skills in substation design and protection.
