Job summary

Ziegler CAT in Shakopee, MN seeks an Electrical Engineer to support the electric power generation group. This role collaborates across the Power Systems division to deliver integrated power systems solutions for commercial and industrial customers, focusing on design and technical support of distribution systems for new projects and retrofits.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP and MATLAB.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
2+ years electrical engineering experience.
PE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with sales teams to review customer requirements and generate proposals.
Provide end-to-end engineering support for generator installations and site assessments.
Design electrical systems and prepare schematics and drawings.
Specify materials and equipment; support installation, commissioning and testing.
Collaborate with project management, service teams and clients.
