Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an Automation Project Engineer to lead design, testing, and commissioning of complex automation projects. You will work with Project Managers, Technical Leads, and clients to ensure SEL equipment meets requirements.

Responsibilities include defining objectives, analyzing drawings and BOMs, configuring real-time controllers, and mentoring junior engineers. This role requires frequent domestic travel and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of project engineering experience.
• Strong technical leadership and customer interaction.
• Ability to design control logic and network configurations.

Responsibilities

• Lead project engineering team from design through commissioning.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Leads, and Engineers.
• Provide SEL equipment expertise to customers and colleagues.
