Job summary

Buckeye Power Sales is seeking an Applications Engineer for our Power Systems Division in Ohio. You will promote Buckeye and Rehlko brand systems, present to engineers and contractors, and train customers on Rehlko Power Solutions Software.

You will size specifications, advise on codes, and provide technical support while working with a team that values ownership, accountability and ongoing personal growth. This role requires travel and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in electrical power systems preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• First rate customer service skills.
• Able to travel overnight and work unsupervised when needed.
• Clean driving record; insurable with company carrier.
• Must pass background check and periodic drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Buckeye and Rehlko brand systems.
• Conduct engineering and contractor presentations.
• Promote and train Rehlko Power Solutions Software.
• Size and drive favorable specifications within affected Codes.
• Provide technical assistance within the company and to customers.
• Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required.
• Attend business functions, trade shows and conferences as guest or presenter.
• Develop personal skills and capabilities through ongoing training.
• Achieve business and organizational goals, visions and objectives.
• Identify problems and provide quality solutions.
