You will teach customers how protective relays protect critical equipment and analyze relay responses to faults, collaborating with engineers and contributing to technical papers.

Based in King of Prussia, PA, the role requires 5+ years in protection, a B.E. in electrical engineering, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with power system protection and relays.
• Experience with utility/industrial power systems focusing on protection, control, and operations.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and work within a team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support and solutions for power system protection schemes.
• Teach, advise, and support customers to ensure reliability and safety of power grids.
• Design demonstrations of new technology or solutions for customers to add value to their systems.
• Troubleshoot protection product questions and guide root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers and contribute to internal research and development.
