The role emphasizes teaching, product feedback to R&D, and collaboration with fellow engineers to share best practices while supporting a 25% travel requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with power system protection and relays.
• Experience with utility/industrial power systems focusing on protection, control, and operations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to customers on applying protection schemes and new technologies.
• Design demonstrations of new technology/solutions for customers.
• Perform troubleshooting guidance to identify root causes.
• Analyze protective relay responses to power system faults.
• Teach customers how to use SEL products and relays.
• Contribute to white papers, application guides, and technical papers.
