Job summary
ARCADIS Group is seeking a Power System Planning & Study Engineer to join our Power Delivery team in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves coordinating the Power System Planning & Study team and performing planning studies and feasibility analyses for clients across North America.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant experience, along with proficiency in PSS®E software. You will collaborate closely with various departments and have opportunities for impactful work on sustainable solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power system study analysis and planning.
- Must be familiar with North American Market Operator guidelines.
- PE license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver complex power system study projects.
- Perform rigorous power systems analysis activities.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and good practices.
